Terms & Conditions

By booking a rehearsal at Rocket Park Studios you are entering into a contract by which you are agreeing unconditionally on behalf of the band/artist to abide by the studio’s terms and conditions as detailed below.

Booking a rehearsal:

Rehearsal bookings, times and dates are subject to availability and approval from a member of the Rocket Park Studios management.
Rocket Park Studios reserve the right to refuse, reschedule and cancel bookings at any time with or without prior notice or explanations.
Any booking that is cancelled by Rocket Park Studios would not be chargeable to the artist/band.

Payment:

Payment can be made by either cash or by credit/debit card – all major cards excepted.
It is the responsibility of the band/artist to cover the cost of each session in full either in advance or on the day of rehearsal.
Late payment will lead to an additional fee, and refusal to pay may lead to prosecution.
Bands/Artists are responsible to pay in full for the time slots in which they have booked their rehearsal session for.
Sessions can be extended or shortened if room is available but is subject to agreement by a Rocket Park Studios member of staff.
No refunds or reduction in payment would be eligible if rehearsals are shortened. Extended sessions would be subject to full payment of the normal hourly rates for every hour part thereof over your allocated time slot.

Cancellations:

24 hours’ notice is required for the cancellation of a session without charge; this includes weekends and bank holidays.

If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, 50% of the cost of the session will be charged.

If a session is not attended and we are given no prior warning as to why you could not attend the full cost of the session will be charged.

Allowances for cancellations due to extreme circumstances are made at the discretion of Rocket Park Studios management.

Disabled Access:

Rocket Park Studios is not entirely fully wheelchair accessible. Reasonable efforts, however, have been made to make the facility “disability friendly” as per the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
Rocket Park Studios staff members will endeavour to assist in the access to the premises and its facilities where reasonably possible; however Rocket Park Studios staff members reserve the right to refuse assistance in circumstances that are considered unsafe or unreasonable at their own discretion.

Equipment:

Only equipment listed as inclusive on our website for a specific studio can be guaranteed to be available.
If you require a certain piece of additional equipment, please advise a member of staff in advance of your booking, and if available a member of staff will organise this equipment for your rehearsal slot.
Priority will be given to the availability of equipment on a first come first served basis.

Rocket Park Studios takes no responsibility for injury sustained as a result of moving equipment.

Please inform a member of the Rocket Park Studios staff, should you require any Rocket Park Studios equipment to be moved.

Breakages and Damages:

Any damage caused to premises or studio equipment due to misuse and abuse will be charged to the band/individual.
Refusal to pay for breakages will lead to exclusion and prosecution.
If an item of equipment is damaged or missing at the start of your session please report it to the Rocket Park Studios staff immediately. Failure to do so may result in the band/artist being liable to a replacement charge.

Personal Items / Lost Property:

Please make sure that you do not leave personal items unattended and ensure that you take all of your belongings with you when you leave.

For any items stored at Rocket Park Studios, please refer to the storage terms and conditions.
Rocket Park Studios is not responsible for any personal items that are lost or damaged on the premises.

Access:

Rocket Park Studios Ltd is situated within the site premises of TDL.

Access via the barrier at the entrance to the site premises is authorised by Rocket Park Studios/TDL security staff members ONLY.

Access to the studio building(s) is authorised by Rocket Park Studios/TDL security staff members ONLY.

Rocket Park Studios/TDL security staff members reserve the right to refuse entry to any person(s) at any time.

Customers are only permitted access to the specific studio areas as per the booking made in addition to any permitted communal areas.

Customers may not access any other areas without consent from Rocket Park Studios management. Failure to comply with this condition may result in ejection from site and prosecution.

When leaving and entering the complex, please remember that the studio entrance door must be kept shut at all times.

Any theft or damages that occur as a result of the door being left open will be chargeable to the band/artist.

Smoking:

Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere inside the studio complex.
A sheltered smoking area is provided outside the studio complex.
If you leave the premises to smoke, please ensure that you are a safe distance from the studios and that your cigarette stubs are disposed of appropriately in the cigarette bin provided.

Drugs:

Rocket Park Studios operates a zero tolerance policy on drugs. If you are suspected of or found to be in possession of ANY CLASS of drugs on the premises, you will be asked to leave and be reported to the police.

Alcohol:

If you are deemed as behaving inappropriately as a result of consuming alcohol or found in possession of alcohol without the permission of Rocket Park Studios management, you are liable to be excluded from the premises without a refund and reported to the police.

Food and Drink:

You are permitted to bring your own food and drink onto the Rocket Park Studios premises; however, this must be consumed within the reception area and is NOT permitted within the rehearsal studio.
Any damage caused to studio equipment due to spillages and negligence with food and drink will be charged as per our breakages and damages policy above.
Please help us to keep the rehearsal rooms tidy by placing any rubbish in the bins provided.

Ear Health / Safety:

Rocket Park Studios are NOT responsible for damage to ears and are NOT obliged to provide ear protection. Rocket Park Studios have ear protection available to purchase.

Rubbish / Broken Drumsticks:

Broken drumsticks are a hazard to other room users and studio equipment.
If you break a drumstick, please make sure that you put it in the bin before you leave.
Please help us to keep the rehearsal rooms tidy by placing any rubbish in the bins provided.
